Palm Sunday begins the most political week of Jesus’ ministry. We learn a lot about what his mission is, and what it isn’t. At the end of this day, Jesus refuses to pick up the sword or take the throne of Israel. What does that say about his ministry, and how might it shape his followers’ relationship to political convictions?
