Real Love

Real love is living out Jesus command to love our enemies. Many spiritualities counsel some sort of forgiveness and kindness to those who oppose us. It is alsmost alwasy framed as a way to care for yourself. But Christian spirituallity calls us to pass on what we’ve already received—God loved us when we were his enemies. When we do this, we are not only released emottionally, but we shine light into the world around us.
